UniqueOne Network has Passed the Auditing phase and onto the Voting Phase now.

Start voting with your $OCT tokens before the 30th of August 2022 and make UniqueOne Network the next Appchain on Octopus network.

We are happy to announce to our community that UniqueOne Network has passed the auditing phase on Octopus Network and is set to become the next Appchain.

After passing the security audit, we have officially entered Voting phase. The community can already start voting for us here.

How to Vote for UniqueOne Network on the Octopus Network

For Voting in UniqueOne as the next Appchain, you need to have OCT tokens in your wallet. The appchain with the highest number of votes will move into the Staging Phase depending on the number of votes we collect. The number of votes are a summation of both upvotes and downvotes.

The steps for voting are as follows:

1. Please log in to Octopus Network Mainnet Dashboard.
2. Navigate to UniqueOne-Appchain.
3. Click on “Upvote or Downvote and deposit a certain amount of $OCT tokens for submitting your vote. The more $OCT you deposit, the stronger the weightage of the vote.
4. You can withdraw your OCT tokens at any time during the voting phase. However, in order for your votes to be counted, you must leave your OCT in deposit until the conclusion of the Voting phase.

PS: We do advise keeping your deposited $OCT until the end of the voting phase for them to be counted in. Voting will end on 30th of August.

Appchain Status

There are the below five phases:

1. Registered: The appchain will go through the Registered phase after the appchain team submits the registration with the appchain information.
2. Auditing: The Octopus team will start the audit within 1–2 weeks. During the Auditing phase, the Octopus team mainly audits for two aspects:
   - The protocol functions are usable/valuable for business purposes;
   - Both the protocol apps and appchain node are implemented as the same with the protocol function specification file provided;
3. Voting: If the appchain passes the audit, it will go through the Voting phase. This is the critical stage for the appchain team to request support from OCT holders. OCT holders can vote to decide whether the appchain would go through the next phase. (UniqueOne Network is in Voting Phase as of 16th August 2022)
4. Booting: The appchain with the highest vote scores will go through the Booting phase, the Octopus team will do some preparations for the appchain to go live.
5. Running: After the Octopus team boots the appchain and the appchain team activates the chain with the Sudo account, the Octopus team will execute the go-live step, the appchain will go through the Running phase.
